Welcome to the Federal Parliamentary Press Gallery Midwinter Ball.
Traditionally held in the third week of June each year, it brings together the journalistic, political and corporate chiefs of Australia. It is always a memorable night full of entertainment and networking opportunities with the big winner being charity.
We were thrilled to announce that we raised $350,000 for charity at this 2022 event. We can only do this because of the support of our sponsors and because of the help from the political leaders in Parliament House. Our charity auction is essential to raising this money, so we thank all those who helped: Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton, Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles, Treasurer Jim Chalmers, Foreign Minister Penny Wong, Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek, the AFL, Qantas, Zoe Daniel, Monique Ryan, Allegra Spender, Kylea Tink and David Pocock.
